The organization expanded its home preservation services by adding an aging in place program to its existing brush with kindness and critical home repair programs. The main goal of the new aging in place program is to address the housing modification needs of seniors. Examples of modifications which will allow seniors to enter, exit and live in their homes more safely include the installation of accessibility ramps, walk-in bathtubs, handrails for stairs, hallways, bedrooms, and bathrooms, upgraded lighting, levered door handles and

Habitat operates a resale shop, called restore, where clients can purchase a variety of new or gently used building materials and furniture. Many of the items sold are donations from the general public.
