Habitat for Humanity - Southeast Ohio HFH

Homeownership - our homeownership program works in partnership with families to provide them with a decent, affordable home to purchase and then pay an affordable mortgage. Each homeowner has to complete sweat equity hours and must attend education classes in order to become a homeowner under the Habitat for Humanity of southeast Ohio program.

Restore - the restores sell new and gently used building supplies, home goods, furniture and appliances at great discounts. Profits from the restores are used to continue our housing mission in southeast Ohio. This year, we diverted over 800 tons of landfill waste, which provided goods to over 40,000 families; many of whom are low-income.

Home repair & microlending - we provide home repairs to existing homeowners who do not have the resources to make the repairs themselves. It is also used to modify a home to an adaptive use for the homeowner due to changes in their situation. In addition, we also provide microloans for families who need funding to make non-essential repairs on their homes or to purchase medical devices that allow them to stay in their homes.
