The organization provides decent low cost and affordable housing through new home construction,restoration and emergency residential repairs for the economically disadvantaged. During 2023,the organization received a grant from the state of Florida, department of economic opportunity, to construct 13 affordable housing units in the Florida Keys. The organization incurred expenditures related to this grant in the amount of 503,605. The grant also consisted of sub-awards pass down in the amount of 942,500 to Habitat affiliates located in the middle and lower Keys. The organization also sold two new homes during 2023.
The organization provides mortgage, rental and family services to homeowners as well as services to volunteers.
The organization provides a restore were all goods have been donated by the community and re-sold to the public. All funds generated from the sale of goods are used for the mission of the organization.
