Hfhwf served new family members throughout the year sharing the love of christ and working to provide decent affordable housing.
Hfhwf operates a restore program, a home goods recycling and discount building materials store that provides a resource to low-income households as well as revenue for hfhwf operations. This program increases the assets available to targeted families and communities, and increases the opportunity for low-income owner-occupied housing maintenance and repairs.
Long-term mortgage financing is the key component that makes hfhwf homes affordable. Homes are sold to local low-income families that earn less than 65% of the median income for Wichita Falls. Homebuyers are provided with an affordable mortgage based on their income.
