Program areas at Hale Education
Hale's programs focus on giving children, families and educators opportunities to be outside, active and reimagining how and where learning takes place. We use close to 1,200 acres of woodlands with ponds and trails as our classroom and inspiration for our work. During the traditional academic year, Hale hosts close to 15,000 children through school partnership programs, conducts a semester school and long-term Education programs that serve 200 students, and provides coaching, consulting and educational leadership courses for adults. In the summer, Hale operates camps that serve approximately 4,000 children annually. In addition, we conduct family programs, events for the public and maintain 20 miles of trails for public access. Our camps and school programs provide services for children and families from over 75 communities.
