Program areas at Hamilton Flourishing
The first six months of 2022 were full of activities:1 two weekly newsletter were published and distributed to approximately 50,000 emails. One, civilis, dealt with current events in Hamilton county. The second, breath of virtue, was a thought piece essay addressing principles behind current events.2 our primary focus at the start of the year was the primary elections in may. All efforts were educational in nature and included the first mayoral debate in february, numerous interviews of candidates for school board. The debate was broadcast live, and the interviews were zoom recordings and distributed on our social media channels.3 fliers were distributed at two schools concerning their reading scores to educate parents.4 the Hamilton Flourishing website was redesigned.5 in june a nationwide solemn assembly prayer event was produced and broadcast across the nation to multiple outlets. The focus was the recent dobbs decision.6 a fundraiser was planned for september with numerous contact and appointments made, but due to funding issues, the event was cancelled.7 programming functions were paused in august of 2022 due to marginal success of fundraising efforts.
