Hanalei Watershed Hui

Hwh coordinates the Hanalei makai watch, a program that provides community volunteer support to the Hawaii dept of land & natural resources enforcement of coastal resource regulations. Hwh is conducting hydraulic hydrologoic modeling to evaluate solutions to reduce the impacts of flooding in Hanalei. Hwh is conducting a climate change adaptation project to develop an action plan for the north shore of kauai. Hwh is also working with the fish & wildlife foundation to protect wildlife habitat from flooding. Hwh provides outreach & education about Watershed and marine resources.
