Phyllis Newby, Missionary to Haiti: Trains and supports indigent pastors and teachers; oversees more than 250 churches with primary schools; feeding programs to school children and villages as possible; food and clothing distributions; and provides for a Children's Homes with approximately 50 children. Provided almost 325,000 pounds of rice in 2023 for the people of Haiti. Lack of supplies and transportation blockages made it difficult to provide more rice, as desired.
Ministry to South Africa - Mark Walker, Missionary: Teaching Biblical truths to students at the William Carey School of World Missions via Zoom meetings. Well drilling project for Sinakekele, a home for abandoned South African children.
Haiti Ministries - Rice Project and Christmas for Haiti project helped to raise funds for Rice to be distributed to the church communities. Rice project provided 449 bags or 24,695 pounds. We were not able to procure rice for distribution at Christmas time, as desired. We will apply funds to the next purchase.
