Program areas at Hands for Homeless
We provided services to 6,625 Homeless & hurting individuals & families in our three-county area with computer assistance, clothing, tents, showers facilities, and benefit applications assistance in fy 2022. We provided 70,933 hot meals and bags or boxes of food to fight food insecurity. Ninety percent of the donations received went directly to program services because of our great army of volunteers that registered 12,824 hours of service in the year.
We purchased a new box truck for collecting food and furniture from donors and delivering them to our clients in need. We installed fences, new air conditioners, and video cameras for safety and protection of the real property purchased in the previous year. Total cost $63,697.
