Program areas at Hands Offering Hope Foundation

The institute provides leadership and education opportunities for students. Hands Offering Hope offers year round tutoring programming, school clubs and a program that provides leadership and career readiness training to students in rural mexico. It also operates a year-round culinary institute that trains students to work in the many tourist areas in the region. In 2022-23, the following was accomplished: 1. Tutoring - provided weekly tutoring in math, english and public speaking for 75 students from august 2022 - june 2023 2. Leadership institute - served over 200 students ages 5-19 providing monthly leadership training, a winter conference and summer programming. Students and parents expressed a high level of satisfaction in the quality of the program. 3. Culinary institute - welcomed first cohort of 8 students who began classes and competed in (and won) national competitions. Students were placed in a variety of internships with local and regional restaurants.
