Program areas at Harvard Club of Minnesota
The Club sponsors events to promote early college awareness, and build awareness that Harvard is a school where students can get financial aid and the personal support necessary to attend and be successful. These efforts support the national agenda that all students graduate from high school career or college ready. Included in this effort is the donation of Harvard prize books to most of the high schools in mn.
The Club provides opportunities for networking between students, parents and alums. These events have been expanded since covid restrictions have been lifted and focus on the fact that students and parents can seek and receive academic and personal support from local alums in an effort to get an excellent and comprehensive education. There are about 360 members currently.
The Club provides support to new mn Harvard students and their families. The freshman send off picnic is an important part of this support in that it provides an opportunity for students and their familes to meet local Harvard graduates who are willing to help connect them with support needed while in school and while looking for real world learning opportunities like internships.
