Program areas at Harvest Free Medical Clinic
The clinic serves our neighbors in the Charleston Tricounty community through free health care to uninsured patients below 250% of the federal poverty level. Office visits, telehealth visits and phone follow-up encounters are offered at no cost to patients. The only revenue is from fees from medical records, as well as fees from SC DHEC for best chance network services.
Medical supplies such as wound care supplies, nebulizer tubing, diabetic testing supplies and others are given to patients free of charge.Onsite labs are performed free of charge as well. These include hemoglobin A1C, urinalysis, lipid panel, basic metabolic panel, hemoglobin, urine microalbumin: cretinine.
The clinic's pharmacy purchases medications that are then prescribed by clinic providers and dispensed by clinic pharmacists. The prescriptions filled at the clinic are free to enrolled patients.
