Description
Haven for Hope is a private non-profit aimed at transforming the lives of men, women and children faced with homelessness in the San Antonio/Bexar County area. Partnering with 78 governmental, non-profit and faith-based agencies, Haven for Hope seeks to transform the lives of the homeless by addressing the root causes of homelessness through education, job training and behavioral health services. Haven for Hope and its Partners will provide critical social services to help the people become self-sufficient individuals on a long-term basis.

Program areas at Haven for Hope of Bexar County

Member services: the member services program provides centralized intake, case management, education and skill development, spiritual services, job and housing assistance for homeless individuals served on campus. Members receive services through the organization's transformational campus and prospects courtyard. The transformational campus (tc) provides transformational transition for adults and families with children experiencing homelessness. The organization began the fiscal year serving with 1,135 members daily, of which 358 were children. On september 30, 2024 Haven for Hope was serving 1,011 members daily, of which 332 were children. The total number of persons served during the fiscal year ended september 30, 2024 was 3,569, of which 1,388 were children.
Partner services: the partner services program provides buildings and grounds, security, maintenance, information systems and other common facility services to third-party partners located on the campus. The third-party partners, along with the organization, provide critical social services to help the homeless become self-sufficient individuals on a long-term basis. The member services program provides centralized intake, case management, education and skill development, spiritual services, job and housing assistance for homeless individuals served on campus. for fiscal year 2024, Haven for Hope had agreements with 51 on-campus partners, 30 community referral partners and 7 community support partners.
