Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation facilitates affordable housing, community development, and economic development throughout the state of Hawaii by providing innovative financing, training, and consulting to organizations who serve this mission. HCRC and its subsidiaries have assisted 3,508 affordable rental housing units with funding of 205.5 million through its affordable housing loan participation program and provided 7 business loans totaling 3.6 million through the SBA 504 loan program, as well as providing 22 other loans for community benefit projects.

Hcrc and subsidiaries have provided financing for: the development of 3,508 affordable housing rental units with total funding of 205.5 million through its affordable housing bank consortium loan participaton program. 7 business loans totaling 3.6 million through the sba 504 program 203 energy efficient loans totaling 4.8 million through the dbedt greensun loan loss reserve program. 29 direct loans totaling 3.4 million to nonprofits and small businesses to support Community programs and economic development through its Community loan fund. 3 direct loans totaling 1.3 million for predevelopment of 649 new affordable rental units and 3 direct loans totaling 342k for the preservation of 7 affordable single family homes through its Community real estate loan fund. Hcrc granted 789,474 to the university of Hawaii foundation to fund an endowment to establish the Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation distinguished professorship in affordable housing, administered a passthrough grant in the amount of 1,983,950 for hud and c&c honolulu to a nonprofit preservation of affordable housing in tod district, and administered 153 passthrough grants totaling 1,833,759 for the c&c honolulu mayors office of culture and arts cares act recovery & relief fund program. Hcrc provides free financial technical assistance and training to Community based organizations through individual consultation, webinars, and convenings.
