Hawaii Contemporary supports the local arts infrastructure with a global outreach by presenting an arts festival, Hawaii Triennial, every three years. The multi-site public exhibition is complemented by year-round publishing. In 2021-2022, five professional development fellowships were awarded with stipends to cover a four-month performance period to support the preparation of HT22. The nonprofit organization's signature citywide event in Honolulu, the Hawaii Triennial 20.

Fy23 is considered year one in our three year triennial cycle. Year one activities strengthen the organization through fundraising and setting the curatorial framework as we plan hawai?Hawaii?i triennial 2025. In addition, the non-profit hosted our first fundraiser in may 2023 alongside professional development program for high school students.
