Program areas at Hawaiis Volcano Circus
Seaview performing acts center for education provides classes in Circus arts and other cultural activities. Approximately 60 people per week attended classes. The program is supported by the operation of a weekly farmers market selling only locally made products and services. The market also accepts ebt payments, allowing low income families greater access to fresh produce and other healthy food items.
Two local charter schools (Hawaii academy of arts and sciences and kua o ka la elemantary school)operate out of facilities provided by hvc.
Hawaii island community Circus unity project operates a children's Circus day camp lasting 3-5 days. Approximately 20 children attended each of the five camps held.
