Program areas at Healing Art Missions

In 2022, Healing Art Missions operated a healthcare clinic in Dumay. Due to geopolitical challenges in the region and concerns for staff and patient safety, that clinic was closed on July 30, 2022. From January 1, 2022 - July 30, 2022: 4,148 patients visits occurred, 387 surgeries, 435 family planning visits, 240 eye clinic visits, 38 rehydrasion treatments, 30 deliveries, 1,230 vaccinations, adn 3,100 lab tests . For all of 2022, Healing Art Missions also operated a Basic Surgical Care program in Haiti's Grand Sud (southern peninsula). In 2022, HAM's Grand Sud Medical Team provided 920 orthopedic consultations, 67 orthopedic surgeries, 421 general surgeries, as well as 428 prenatal consultations and 196 deliveries.
In 2022, Healing Art Missions continued to provide clean water and basic heathcare to the rural mountainous community of Demier, Haiti. The community is home to hundreds of people and HAM has two staff members who provide water system maintenance as well as basic first aid and public health.
Healing Art Missions supported the Charles Salomon Primary School in Port-de-Paix Haiti in 2022. HAM's support funded staff salaries and cosmetic improvements to the school structure. In 2022, the school served 337 students pre-K through grade 9, 33 adult literacy students, and employed a staff of 35.
