Program areas at SBHF

Improving Health services in southern Haiti: hei/sbh is proud to be leading a five-year project funded by the u.s. agency for International development (usaid) to improve access to high-quality Health care in southern Haiti. The partnership for Equity in Health project, known askore sante("supporting Health") locally, supports Haiti's ministry of Health and several nonprofit organizations in providing high-quality primary care services in the geographic departments of grande anse, nippes, sud, and sud-est. Through this work, we hope to further our mission of ensuring that all people, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to high-quality, compassionate Health care.
The Foundation supports & operates a hospital facility in fond-des-blancs, Haiti that contains approximately 120 beds.
Maternal & child Health program: hei/sbh's mnch program provides prenatal care, labor and delivery services, postpartum care, neonatal intensive care, and both routine and emergency services for infants and children. Hei/sbh is the region's referral center for high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric care.
Infectious disease program, surgical program, villa clinic, community Health education and development program.
