Policy research and analysis: hpio translates complex data and evidence into actionable Policy insights. We dig deep into trends and consider the policymaking landscape to inform comprehensive analysis, focusing attention on key Health needs through data snapshots and visualizations.
Program & Policy evaluation: hpio conducts both process and outcome evaluations to articulate and measure progress toward program and Policy goals. Hpio also facilitates improvement processes and creates tools that enable other organizations to evaluate effectiveness.
Assessment & planning: hpio assesses the strengths and needs of our state and local communities and creates measurable plans. We utilize data from public sources and insights gathered through advisory committees, focus groups, listening sessions and surveys to prioritize action steps.
Education: hpio hosts educational events designed that offer a broad audience the opportunity to learn about key Health Policy issues. Staff meet individually with state policymakers to share analysis and provide technical assistance and present at national, state and local conferences. Hpio also provides a weekly Ohio Health Policy newsletter and quarterly Ohio Health value report.
