Program areas at Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of GA

HMHBGAs resource and referral offerings supported over 75,000 individuals and community organizations with the goal of addressing the physical, behavioral, and social determinants of health that impact moms, birthing people and babies. Though our Coalition, we activated over 500 individuals and community-based organizations in advocacy, data fluency and research initiatives that were centered in and guided by directly impacted population. Additionally, the organization provided over 18,000 perinatal care items, 27,000 printed educational materials and approximately $80,000 in direct financial support to community organizations and families. The agency had a specific focus on enhancing resources to support birthers experiencing substance use disorders, intimate partner violence, perinatal mood, and anxiety disorders, and/or homelessness.
