Members of the Heartland Education Community, Inc. continue to work on projects identified during an annual strategic planning process. The plans will help the orrville Community meet the national Education goals. Character Education, teacher training, early childhood initiatives, the orrviews Community newspaper project are areas of project emphasis.our purpose-to engage the entire Community in the Education of orrville youth by shifting the focus from school to Education and responsibility from school to Community. Pillars-volunteer led/ connecting resources/removing obstacles/creating opportunities. Five basic pillars-the five cs: community/connecting learning to life/critical thinking/character development/continuous improvement.
