Facing the Mourning: $5136.18 Facing the Mourning is a four-week grief support group for people who have experienced a loss and afacilitator training. 137 people participated in Facing the Mourning support groups facilitator training that will allow them to offer the four-week support within their organization and community.2. Signature Series: $3500.00Heartlight hosts experts on grief and loss to provide educational presentations to those grieving and professional and volunteer caregivers. Sessions are offered live, then recorded sessions are available online in order to offer continued acess to grief educaton. The 3500 expense is for the following signature series speakers:-helping bereaved understand their grief and cultivate self compassion presented by Kelly Karavousanos (108 live participants)-the heroes you never see: bringing your whold self to compassionate care settings presented by Harold Ivan Smith (41 live participants)3. Self-Care/Compassion: $2700Heartlight hosted Dr. Tonya Cunningham to provide an educational training for professional and volunteer caregovers titled Leaders Grieve Too! When the Heart and Mind are Exhausted. 48 live participants.Additional Services offered: Support Groups: HeartLight offers both virtual and in-person support groups through volunteer support. The groups meet monthly and have a $15 suggest donation. Groups follow an open format where participants may come and go based on their needs.
