The school program has also been presented at the rock, digital leadership camp. We believe that an upstanding character builds confidence within our children and youth to make informed decisions as they navigate difficulties they face in today's online world. Instructors facilitate classroom management through our exclusive curricula to; establish a healthy balance between digital and real life. Equip students with tools to protect and control their digital reputation. Encourage students to take a stand against digital drama through upstanding character. Engage students with tools to proactively protect themselves from dangerous online content and potential predators.
Family/community presentations & workshops the goal of these presentations is to provide parents/caring adults tools to help prevent or address dangerous online activity which can lead to exploitation. Heartmatters brings in professionals for these presentations. Staff also provides presentations for any organization, church or business that would like to learn about digital media safety.
Collaborations is a new program where Heartmatters staff collaborate with other children and youth nonprofit programs as well as homeschool groups during the summer and fall. Collaborations provides life skills classes along with digital media safety classes with the same objectives listed above.
