Program areas at Hearts of Hope
SUPPORT SCHOOLS: Hearts of Hope works in three countries where we assist four schools by providing meals, school supplies, food for students and teacher salaries. Hearts of Hope also helped with repairs for a school after the earthquake in Haiti on August 14, 2021. Estimate of persons benefitted is 1200.
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT: Hearts of Hope worked in six countries where we supported projects that aided in community improvement. Examples are repairing and rebuilding homes after the earthquake in Haiti on August 14, 2021. Hearts of Hope repaired a school, repaired and rebuilt widow's homes and supported a full time nurse at a medical clinic in Haiti. Hearts of Hope also supports a ministry center in Cameroon where widows, orphans, displaced persons and others are helped.
SUPPORT AT-RISK CHILDREN, ORPHANS, WIDOWS AND POOR FAMILIES: Hearts of Hope worked in seven countries where we helped care for widows, fed street children, assisted with medical needs, clothing and basic living needs. Hearts of Hope provided funds for 150 orphans in Cameroon to attend school. Estimate of persons benefitted: 2500
