Research in partnership with the university of central Florida school of medicine, the organization conducts Research studies to evaluate how equine-assisted therapies can impact individuals with autism and also veterans with ptsd. In this effort, we aim to impact the way insurance companies and the va support this modality of treatment and, in turn, more individuals will benefit from similar services around the world.
Veterans recreational the organization is home to a horses and heroes drill team that is showcased at various rodeos and events honoring combat veterans. As well, in the horses & heroes program, veterans with ptsd receive ten weeks of group counseling in an equine-assisted environment.
