Helping Hands of Central Missouri operates a food pantry and thrift store with 100% volunteer help. Program service 1 is the thrift store. The thrift store is open every saturday from 8 am to 2 pm staffed by volunteer help. The thrift store sells clothing and household items received as donations from residents throughout the Central Missouri area. The thrift store receives grants, donations and store receipts to finance the operation of the hand up food pantry.
Hands up is a food pantry supported by grants, donations and sales from the Helping Hands thrift store. The food pantry is available for food pickup once per month and serves approximately 150 families in the Central Missouri area. The sorting and delivery of food is all done wih volunteer help.
