Program areas at HONOR

Honor's adult and family shelter provides temporary shelter to homeless individuals and families, as well as referrals for wrap-around services. Our case management team provides assistance securing permanent housing. Honor successfully assisted 1,438 men, women and children with emergency/temporary housing.
Honor's community housing programs secured and/or maintained permanent housing for 109 previously homeless individuals and families. This program continues its involvement with the participants by providing up to 24 months of supportive services. Obstacles to maintaining housing are identified and assistance is given to ensure stability. In 2023, Honor issued 492 rental payments and/or security deposits.
Honor's runaway and homeless youth shelter provides temporary shelter for runaway and homeless youth, counseling services, and placement in school. The program also acts as a liaison with public assistance caseworkers. "a friend's house" provided a safe haven and emergency housing to 115 youth during 2023.
