Henry Ford Health Macomb Hospital (hfmh) is recognized for its excellence in providing inpatient care to the residents of Macomb county Michigan as well as other communities located northeast of the city of detroit. Specialty services include a heart & vascular institute, Henry Ford cancer institute, a women's Health center, along with a birthing center that features 17 labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum suites. The Hospital also has a 32-bed inpatient rehabilitation program, an ambulatory and minimally invasive surgery center and leading diagnostic imaging, along with advanced trauma capabilities and emergency services.in may 2023, Henry Ford Health unveiled the new janet & jim riehl north tower at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, after a decade of planning and three years of preparation, construction, and anticipation. The five-story, 225,000-square-foot facility features all private patient rooms and a state-of-the-art healing and work environment. The new tower's 160 private patient rooms were designed to meet diverse patient needs, including rooms on each floor to accommodate patients with disabilities, patients of size, and patients with unique needs requiring a more secure environment.the coronavirus impact with an established research structure and access to a diverse patient community, Henry Ford was able to act immediately when the coronavirus pandemic struck. Henry Ford utilized emergency-use authorizations from the fda to treat and track covid-19 patients, creating and monitoring database registries to inform future clinical treatment.
