Program areas at High Tech Kids
First lego league: High Tech Kids supported over 3,200 Minnesota students in our first lego league program (for students ages 9 to 14) this year. High Tech Kids provided training to coaches, educators, volunteers and teams in support of our largest stem program. High Tech Kids organizes tournaments for students to share their work and our trained event volunteers determine team awards and advancement. Top teams in our regional tournaments advanced to our 72 team Minnesota state championship.
First lego league explore: High Tech Kids supported over 970 Minnesota students in our first lego league explore program (for students ages 6 to 9) this year. High Tech Kids offer a choice of a video submission or an in person festivals. High Tech Kids organizes festivals for students to share their work and our trained event volunteers determine team awards.
First Tech challenge: High Tech Kids supported over 1,250 Minnesota students in our first Tech challenge program (for students ages 13 to 18) this year. High Tech Kids provided training to coaches, educators, volunteers and teams in support of our middle and High school stem program. High Tech Kids organizes tournaments for students to share their work and our trained event volunteers determine team awards and advancement. Top teams in our qualifier and league tournaments advanced to our 48 team Minnesota state championship.
Summer camps: High Tech Kids offered three weeks of summer camps teaching lego robotics programming for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students.
