The Hira House Just Water Initiative was able to maintain it's aquaculture operations in 2022 despite a number of equipment and inclimate weather setbacks. Further our outreach and education efforts have paid off as general interest in aqualculture meetings amongst Coast residents has remained level while also progressing on a digital oyster planting oyster farming and boating safety curriculum.

The Hijra House Just Food Initiative remains Hijra House's top community engagement program with consistent leadership and increasing awareness on the Mississippi Coast. The program is also supported by State and regional networks coalitions cooperatives and instructive work-study groups. Local leadership has also cemented a voice within State food systems having a growing presence in the considerations prioritizing and programs of the Mississippi Food Policy Council.

The Hijra House Just Energy Initiative effectively increased educational outreach and awareness of renewable energy solar panel installation and energy efficiency weatherization opportunities in Harrison Hancock and Jackson County Mississippi. In additional to renter and howowner awareness the Initiative was also able to identifty recruit and inform aspiring entrepreneurs and minority and small business contractors of EE RE credentials; assess preliminary gaps and needs; and assist in navigating various virtual local state and national registrations.
