Program areas at HNBA

Regions - hnba's National office subsidizes certain functions hosted by the local regions, which support the work and mission of the organization. The Association has 19 regions encompassing the united states and its territories.
Encuentro internacional - co-hosted with the barra mexicana de abogados (bma), encuentro offers opportunities for u.s. and international attorneys to meet representatives from u.s. and latin american companies and law firms. The program offers two days of learning and connecting, providing a robust and forward-looking curriculum on cutting-edge topics led by leading practitioners and trailblazers from mexico, latin america, and the u.s., as well as one-of-a-kind networking opportunities.
Membership - hnba provides a continuously updated website and a periodic electronic newsletter, both containing the latest developments affecting Hispanic attorneys, the Hispanic community and information regarding hnba's events and job openings. Members also receive periodic press releases regarding major accomplishments of the organization, its members and major positions taken by the organization. Members also receive a biannual publication, noticias, which gives an overview of the achievements, regions' development and activities and other matters that affect hnba members' profession. Members are also offered a variety of membership benefits that range from opportunities to participate in continuing legal education activities, discounts on services from corporate partners and networking opportunities both at the local level and at the National level.
Advocacy day - hnba holds advocacy day activities. Advocacy day is held annually to allow hnba leaders and members to participate in advancing the legal and legislative issues of importance to the Hispanic legal community and the u.s. Hispanic community.
