Program areas at Historic Capitol Corridor Foundation

All program service expenses reported in Part IX, line 25 support park planning and public outreach activities related to the Historic Capitol Corridor Foundation's mission. Such activities included public programming for the historically significant Church Street Park and Capitol Corridor - the blocks housing the Tennessee State Capitol Building, the Historic Hermitage Hotel, Anne Dallas Dudley Boulevard (honoring a significant figure in the Women's Suffrage movement) and the Nashville Public Library, site of the Civil Rights and Suffrage Room. Public input, originally sought through multiple public meetings, continues through in-park and online surveys, chats, comment sheets, etc. Subjects covered are preferred programming, building out community involvement in programming, and suggested upgrades to the facility. Long-term and annual budgets continue to be developed for Park planning purposes.
