The Historic Pella Trust aims to protect and preserve Pella's heritage by safeguarding historic building sites, allowing future generations to appreciate the ingenuity of their ancestors. The Trust is presently restoring the Tuttle Cabin, Rock House, and Soul Sleeper Church in the Pella area and educating local youth on the town's history and cultural inheritance.
