Historic Tax Credit Coalition

See schedule othe Coalition conducts information sharing within the Historic Tax Credit (htc) industry, disseminates best practices and procedures, supports academic studies and conducts its own research on trends in the industry, and interacts with federal agencies and congress to promote better administration of the htc and advocate for its improvement. The organization has a contract with a public policy consultant with specific goals in each area and is regularly accountable to its membership. The Coalition supports the publication of an annual report on the economic impact of the Credit and other reports as-needed, including state-specific reports and a recent study of the catalytic impact of the htc. There are also goals with respect to generating clarifying guidance from federal agencies including the irs and the national park service.
