Pu'uhonua & 'ahupua'a: provided a cultural campground based on traditional 'ahupua'a ecological model for educational and community groups at our 5-acre site in Hana, east maui. Engaged in capacity-building activitiesto clarify our organization's vision, goals, and programmatic strategies. Worked to secure our long-termlease with the department of land and natural resources.
Pilina: worked to build our community's capacity for locally-led collaborative initiatives. Supported other emerging nonprofits to establish fund development and grant management systems.
'ike kupuna: 40 emerging and 21 existing kukulu hale and uhau humu practitioners increased competency while engaging in a combined 6,227 hours of hands-on training under kuhikuhi pu'uone francis sinenci at 12 community project sites through out hawai'iHawaii'i.
