Program areas at Homefront America

Christmas: The program served more than 7,000 active-duty military personneland their families stationed at MCAS Miramar, MCB Camp Pendleton USCG Sectors SD/LA & LB, and Sailors at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. More than 2,000 children received toys, stocking stuffers, gift cards, and treats. 400 single mariners received MCX gift cards, and 500 families received boxed ham dinners. Each dinner serves 10 people.
Troop/Family Morale & Welfare: The program served active duty military and their spouses from all six branches of the military. The program helps to bolster troop morales and build strong families. 600 iCare Packages filled with travel sized personal hygiene items and snacks, baby shower for 15 new moms, Dinner for 100 Single Marines, Baked goods and snacks for pre deployment trainings, homecomings, and Steel Knight for more than 1,000 marines at 29 Palms, gift cards to support spousal socials.
Heroes Nite Out: The program honors our active duty military members and their spouses from all six branches of the military. More than 400 guests gathered to enjoy dinner, entertainment with keynote speaker, take home fabulous gift baskets, getaway packages, gift cards, and the opportunity to share their stories ad hear from those who have gone before them.
Clothing/Furnishings:Baby items, clothing, home furnishing/appliances to military families.
Easter: 252 Easter Baskets, 1,010 Chocolate Bunnies, 280 egg coloring kits, 4,212 filled eggs and grocery gift cards for 173 families of 4 or more per household.
Halloween: Filled 1,500 Treat Bags with toys and treats. Candies and baked goods to support multiple unit trunk or treat events and school fall festivities.
Back to School: 624 backpacks filled with school supplies for 1st - 12nd graders at MCB Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar, and CG Sector LA/LB.
Valentines: 1,500 bags filled with candies and toys for children.
Thanksgiving: 300 families received Costco Pumpkin cards and grocery gift cards ($50 - $100) depending on family size. In addition, supported multiple units with more than 600 pies.
HA O&A: A patriotic display of more than 3'X5' US flags honoring active-duty military, veterans and first responders, Hosted a community patriotic Christmas tree at Mission SJC, support for multiple military spousal events with gift cards and provided food at the annual MSACP holiday event.
