Program areas at HomeStretch

The last half of 2023 Homestretch engaged a new program model to improve client outcomes. As a result, Homestretch participants are soaring to new heights. The below listed outcomes underscore the reach of mobility mentoring and the strides families are making as they engage in this transformative practice.-clients have collectively saved over 38k towards their transition goal of 3 months of living expenses. -clients have collectively paid off or abated over 100k in debt.-69% of our participants increased their credit score by more than 35 points in their first six months in the program.-81% of our participants increased their wages by more than 25% in their first six months in the program.the children are also well.-90% of our children are performing academically at or above their grade level. -100% of the children in our program are actively taking part in lifeskills. They way we engage families under our new programming models helps the entire family deal with the stresses that come along with trying to get out of poverty and provides them with the support they need to persevere on their journey. The model is holistic, individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally competent. The organization has benefitted greatly from our program improvements. Our occupancy rate is 94% and we have increased our staff from 4 to 7 full-time employees to serve the 39 adults and 50 children that live at Homestretch. Our run the river race raised over 80k and facilitated 1,010 runners this year. We also refreshed our brand, developed a new website and are preparing ourselves for expanding both our impact investors (donors) and Homestretch hero's (volunteers) base.
