Program areas at HOMEY

HOMEY is a grassroots, non-profit organization rooted in San Francisco, California. For 24 years, HOMEY has identified community issues adversely affecting youth and families in our community and we are dedicated to empowering program participants to make transformative change through individual and community engagement. We do this by educational enrichment programming, social services and resources referrals. HOMEY has several key programs including: Guerrer@s De La Cuidad (City Warriors) Food Program @ La Ofrenda (2070 Mission Street), the Kalpulli Leadership Program (Youth Empowerment Program), the CALLES Care Management Program, Kali Housing Program, HOMEY Street Vendor Program, and our social enterprise Native Graphix.
Our program services served 2,675 individuals and families through one of our programs, services or were referred by HOMEY to appropriate service provider. Our constituents are 83% Latinx, 13% Asian, 2% European American, and 1% Native American, and 0.5% African American. The income level of our participants is 41% extremely low income, 58% low income and 1% moderate income. We serve primarily San Francisco residents 42% in the 94110, 11% in 94103, 10% 94112, 6% in 94124, 5% in 94109, 5% in 94102, and 21% in all other zip codes in our city. The HOMEY team remains steadfast in servicing our community and supporting the many families that come through our doors each day.
