Hoosier Burn Camp offers life-changing experiences to young people who have suffered physical and emotional trauma from severe burn injuries. They provide a week-long camp in a private, nonjudgmental environment for juvenile burn survivors residing in or treated in Indiana and offer coping programs for both burn victims and their families to deal with the trauma and expense of burn injuries.

Program areas at Hoosier Burn Camp

Provide a week long Camp in a private nonjudgmental environment for juvenile Burn survivors that either reside in Indiana or were treated in Indiana. A coping program for Burn victims and their families to deal with the trauma and expense of Burn injuries as well as a surrogate support program for infants to children age eight was developed and implemented. Band and skit performances were also performed to educate elementary age students about the importance of fire safety.
