Program areas at Hope City / Hope Crisis Response Network Inc- HCRN

Disaster Response and Recovery. HCRN provides immediate assistance, community mentoring and long term recovery rebuilding help for Northern California communities devastated by disaster. HCRN became a Licensed General Contractor in California in 2021. HCRN coordinates volunteers who rebuild homes for vulnerable families. HCRN currently has two rebuilding projects: Paradise, CA and Happy Camp, CA. In 2022, we rebuilt 12 homes for fire survivors. HCRN rebuilds for households who were underinsured or uninsured at the time of the fire without charging for our services. Our donors, partners and volunteers make this possible. Immediate assistance: HCRN provided supplies and gift cards to wildfire evacuees in response to the Dixie Fire and the Caldor Fire, distributing more than $1.5 million in supplies. Long Term Recovery Training:Staff also implemented training and ongoing support for eight long term recovery projects across the state.
