Hope Fair Housing Center serves dupage, kane and portions of cook county as well as 37 other counties across the state of Illinois by providing professional and confidential counseling, advocacy, and investigative services in support of victims of illegal Housing discrimination alleging their civil rights were violated while trying to choose, access, or enjoy housing.hope provides robust consulting, training, and compliance services to rental Housing providers, real estate companies, mortgage lenders, homeowners' insurance companies, municipalities and governmental agencies. Through these trainings and consulting services Hope is able to praoctively prevent illegal Housing discriminaiton by ensuring all stakeholders are aware of their Fair Housing obligations under the law. Hope delivers mixed media education and outreach intitiatives to inform members of the general public on their Fair Housing rights in order to ensure illinoisans are able to identify if they have been illegalyl discriminated against and what recourse and resources are available to support them. Hope also makes available self-advocacy toolkits for individuals facing discrimination to use in order to exercise their Fair Housing rights.
