Hope for Us enhances and improves the quality of life for youth in low-income communities and children with sickle cell anemia. It conducts Toy Giveaways and Holiday Celebrations during the winter holiday season to provide gifts for children living in a homeless shelter or affected by sickle cell anemia. To make a difference, it sponsored 30 kids from low-income communities throughout the Bronx, providing free sleep-away camp in Putnam Valley, NY. Without Hope for Us' support, these children would not have had this opportunity.
