Hope Mommies

Hope boxes of personal comfort items and inspirational biblical literature to express tangible love to bereaved mothers of infants were prepared and distributed: 1,040 were produced from individual Hope box gatherings coast-to-coast, 2,980 were directly prepared by local chapters for hospitals in Texas, new mexico, indiana,and 385 boxes were mailed directly to mothers nationwide.

We have three bible studies that were carefully written and was self- published using amazon's createspace to provide accurate, loving, and comforting biblical insight into the issues of infant loss that are experienced by grieving mothers. We use these studies in the spring and fall during our Hope group sessions in which we had a total of 279 participants.

A weekend retreat for mothers bereaved by infant loss in order to comfort, encourage and engage them with god was held at tejas camp and retreat center in gidding, Texas in april 2023. 74 women, from 14 different us states attended. 136 babies in heaven were honored and remembered.

We self-published a new bible study written by our blog editor, ashlee schmidt, titled, "sojourn: a study on living a life of Hope for women who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss", and based on the book of 1 peter.
