Hope Partnership's mission is to create a continuum of affordable housing options in Lower Middlesex County, Old Lyme and surrounding towns through the collaborative efforts of governments, businesses, religious communities, civic organizations, and individuals. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022, its notable efforts included successfully starting up a 17 unit affordable housing project in the Town of Essex known as The Lofts at Spencers Corner, at a total cost of $5,900,000 which was primarily funded by the organization.

Program areas at Hope Partnership

In addition to maintaining affordable housing for 33 low-to moderate income households in essex and old saybrook, Hope worked with our co-developers on necessary items to progress towards closing on financing for 27 additional new units of housing in madison, ct. This community will be composed of 24 units of affordable housing with 7 market rate units, 4 of which are already completed.hope also submitted, with a co-developer, an rfp response to redevelop a historic school in clinton, the pierson school, into 50 senior-preference affordable housing units.hope's efforts included advocating for affordable housing in the communities they serve as a way to educate the public on the need with rpesentations to community, business, and religous organizations. Hope has met with elected officials including first selectpersons from essex, east haddam, madison, old saybrook, and westbrook, as well as the appointed town manager of clinton.
