We partnered with ronald mcdonald house charities to host some of their families once a month to provide a place to "get away from it all and join us for a day of peace and relaxation as we share our beautiful and loving horses with them. Ronald mcdonald house provides a temporary home-away-from-home that serves and sustains families of children receiving treatment at area hospitals.hope Ranch offered free rides for two or three hours once a month with our volunteers help. We also had a fire pit and s'mores for the families to enjoy after their experience at Hope ranch.hosted different people at the ranch:-exchange students from europe have visited Hope Ranch for four week increments.-moms struggling with teenagers have sought refuge while learning about boundaries and being assertive with the horses. This helps them create healthy boundaries with their children.-young teenage girls that come to Hope Ranch are sometimes so introverted that they don't know how to be assertive and be a leader. By working with the horses, they learn about themselves, about safe boundaries with the horses, becoming a leader to the horse, and volunteering and helping others that also come to Hope ranch.-hosted sunridge assisted living and memory care for a day out to the Ranch to be outside and also be with the horses animals rescued:- sonador or sonya for short (horse)- max (german shepherd)projects completed or in progress:- fans in the arena; helps cool down the arena during the hot summer months so it can be utilized all throughout the day- barn; building process started in the fall of 2018volunteer trip moabwe took a trip to moab in april 2018 with a lot of our volunteers. Developed new relationships. We introduced the horses to new environments and different riders, which helps them be more confident and relaxed for our outreach events in the community.
