Program areas at Hope Stone
The Hope Project is an arts healing and education outreach program reaching diverse populations: at-risk school children ages 2-18, homeless youth, and the elderly. Students participate in dance, music, theater, photography, digital arts, fashion design/sewing, and creative emotional intelligence classes taught by professional working artists. The goal of this program is to develop creative children who learn teamwork, compassion, and problem-solving skills that are essential to a students success.
For over 25 years, Hope Stone Dance has performed for audiences new works that are powerful, joyful, and intimately human. In December 2023, the dance company gave its final performances as Hope Stone moved into a new direction, shifting its resources to fully being an organization dedicated to arts education.
