Hopeline

A hotline and text line provided crisis intervention and suicide prevention through supportive and non-judgmental active listening, gental, and understanding discussion of crisis resolution, and referrals to appropriate community resources. A reassurance program provided proactive outreach to elderly and differently-abled individuals who are homebound, lack social support, and are isolated. Volunteer training provided to staff and volunteers that was comprehensive and included classroom learning and supervised call training.
