Horizon Education Network

Horizon serves as a facilitator and educational resource provider for 41 education partners located in 23 countries, impacting over 7,000 faculty, staff, and students in 8 languages and 104 countries. In 2022, Horizon facilitated sessions in 7 international theological conferences, taught 18 professional development courses and logged over 800 hours of training and consulting.These program services were accomplished largely through volunteer services by missionaries seconded and paid from other nonprofit mission organizations. The estimated value of these services in 2022 was $193,435.

Horizon invested time revising and upgrading curricula across its active languages and gained momentum in developing courses. Major revisions were completed in 2 Portuguese masters-level courses. Minor revisions were completed in 14 English and 3 Russian courses. We developed additional resources in English and Portuguese. We completed and ran Moodle skills for facilitators in English, orientation to HISMoodle in 3 new languages (Spanish, Portuguese and Ukranian), Theology & Practice of Worship in Russian, and Jesus Life and Ministry in Ukranian. Horizon invested development time in Interpersonal Ministry Skills and 4 new leadership courses in English and translated Elements of Bible Study and portions of Facilitator Resources in Ukranian. These program services were accomplished largely through volunteer services by missionaries seconded and paid from other nonprofit mission organizations. The estimated value of these services in 2022 was $163,768.
