The Hornet Swim Club is based on the dual beliefs that in order to maximize long term athletic development 1) young athletes must be developed as a whole person and 2) training groups must provide systematic progression of increased expectation and involvement. Within this framework the Hornet coaches work to instill the foundations of a love for the water and swimming; the value of citizenship and teamwork; a love for the hornets and their Hornet teammates; and strong technical skill acquisition. Teach children values through the participation in Swim meets.
