Program areas at HART

Adaptive Riding - our farm provides a safe and peaceful environment with a non-judgemental atmosphere where riding-centered activities help to build strength and improve motor skills in a fun and supportive setting. Our team is focused on a person's ability and not percieved limitations. During the fiscal year, we served 75 clients with this program.
Equine assisted learning - our therapists, trained in equine assisted Therapy, use observational findings in the horse/human relationship to yield psychotherapeutic benefits. The healing experience in a pasture or barn is very different from an experience in a traditional treatment center. During the fiscal year, we served 12 clients with this program.
